Overview of the Assessment Process

Given that we spend a large amount of our time at work it is very much in our own interest to spend this time in a job…

  • to which we are well suited
  • which gives us job satisfaction
  • which enables us to make a real contribution to the success of the organisation

To ensure you are suitable for a role in the Defence Forces, you will be asked to participate in two assessment stages. You will be informed by post when and where you are to undertake these stages of the assessment process:

  1. Psychometric Tests
    Candidates who are successful at the preliminary interview stage will be required to attend for aptitude testing and to complete a Personality Questionnaire.

  2. The Final Interview
    Candidates who are successful at the preliminary stage will be required to attend a final interview.
